Most hospitals and/or care centers can help by providing names of companies to contact, they may have catalogs to look at, and some even have some items like wigs for free or for loan.

Tender Loving Care  TLC is the American Cancer Society's direct mail/online catalog and magazine for women.  It offers helpful articles, medical information, and special products for women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, breast cancer survivors, and any woman experiencing treatment-related hair loss.  Products include a variety of hats, turbans, kerchiefs, hairpieces, swimwear, mastectomy bras, and breast forms.

Headcovers Unlimited  An online company started by a cancer survivor to provide a wide range of head wear, wigs, scarves and cosmetics for cancer patients.

The Pampered Patient  They offer gifts that include products that will help make life easier for patients and caregivers.

Good Wishes Scarves  The mission of Good Wishes is to provide free of charge, one beautiful scarf to anyone experiencing the thinning or loss of hair as a result of illness or treatment.

Ladies First, Inc.  Ladies First offers unique alternatives to traditional post mastectomy products.  They hope to empower and encourage women to return to their active lifestyle feeling feminine with self confidence and grace.

Locks of Love  A public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.  They also take hair donations.
